Business and life coach, Senga Cree, delivers another inspirational event bringing women together from all over the country to network and empower their business and personal lives through connections and sharing experiences with other like minded women.
I love working with Senga, and it’s not just because she finds the most stunning locations for her events or that she drives one of my favourite cars or that I get to listen in on her amazing business advice, it’s because she’s an absolute joy to work with and I always come away from these days learning something new.
I’ve had a flashback whilst writing this blog of a really busy weekend; the joy of covering Senga’s event, the pain of watching my football team get defeated in the last minute of the game, dashing back home from Motherwell just in time to cover an evening show and doing all the editing that comes with that and it seems like no time at all we’re back to Monday in what feels like a flash. 
It’s been lovely reflecting on the weekend though, apart from the football result of course. Seeing the buzz from Senga’s event still bubbling up in my social media feeds along with the images I captured for her has been lovely. Everyone’s own perspective of the day has been reflected through their posts in different ways showing the diversity and friendships of the group.
The Leading Edge event was held at Wellington House in Ayr which was my first visit to this new venue. Sharon and Gary Welsh, owners of the absolutely stunning luxury wedding and events venue, recently opened the Georgian listed building after extensive renovations and fabulous styling has all been carried out by Sharon. It is a seriously beautiful venue filled with tasteful décor, quirky antiques and has the most amazing vestry.
In fact every room gives you a wow moment when you enter. It’s a beautiful wedding venue and I’m sure many couples will be jumping at the chance to book their day here.
For me it’s a photographers paradise with something different in every corner and props galore!!! The light coming through the large windows is also amazing. And the buffet laid on by Sharon!! That deserves a blog post all of its own!!! Can you tell I loved it??
It was a fantastic networking event for everyone, including me as I was able to finally meet a few of the people face to face that I follow through social media as well as meet up with some familiar faces again. Senga’s guest speakers were so interesting to listen to and I could feel the emotions, warmth and connections filtering through the room when they were speaking. It encouraged me to learn how to do reels and you’ll maybe have seen my terrible efforts for now. Expect more of these and hopefully I’ll make some improvement.
