This coming year I will be shifting my work a little more towards outdoor, location and brand photography with people and portraits at the heart of what I do. I also will be open for collaborations with creatives on a purely TFP basis. I’ll maybe even throw a little stage/concert photography in with the mix too.
Outdoor and location work has been on a back burner for a while and this year I’ll be tackling more of this kind of work. Whether that is in an outdoor or indoor environment, I’ll be aiming to feature the surroundings within my portraits with a mix of natural and artificial lighting. I’m really excited for this and to see how creative I can get.
Brand photography is also something I’ve done in the past and I love how working collaboratively with entrepreneurs and small business owners to compile a library of professional images can really boost the quality and variety of their images for their social media presence. So much better than mobile phone selfies and dodgy lighting. Give me a shout if you have an online presence that could do with a photographic boost and we can discuss. Competition entries will also be continuing through the year as this pushes me to improve and be creative. It’s always nice to do better than the previous years as well.
I’m eager to work with other creatives on short or long term projects too. So if you are artistic, musical, a makeup artist, performer, hairdresser etc. and interested in some great images then lets chat through some ideas. This will be TFP (time for pictures) basis almost exclusively as I don’t want cost to be a barrier for creativity especially given the current cost of living situation. So in other words free as long as we are a good fit.
It’ll be a little less busy this year but I’ll be enjoying getting back into the creative side of things and hope you’ll come along for the ride and follow my posts on the blog and on my page.
